4th Annual Pack the Bus Update
Clarksville, Ind.–The 4th annual Pack the Bus event was a great success, bringing in both school supplies and financial donations to help students start the 2018 school year off strong.
The event, organized by Clarksville Community Schools in partnership with One Vision Federal Credit Union, involved setting a bus up outside of One Vision, in Clarksville. Inside of the bank, people dropped off school supplies and/or financial donations.
Enough school supplies were collected to help EVERY student who requested help! Each teacher and counselor in the district also received a large bag filled with school supplies for their classrooms.
A total of $2,450 was collected as well to pay for additional school supplies– $2,000 of that from the Clarksville Police Department.
