Clarksville Middle School is the pathway between elementary and high school, helping students transition from children to young adults. It is our goal to offer quality education and provide a structured environment where individualism can be expressed while holding our young people accountable for their academic success.
Clarksville Middle School runs a traditional seven period day for sixth, seventh and eighth grade students and a traditional elementary schedule for fifth grade students. We currently serve the educational needs of more than 400 energetic and eager young people.
The academic curriculum follows the core standards established by the federal and state government. We offer a variety of opportunities for our students, including Spanish, physical education, visual art, music, band, chorus, technology and drama. We also offer three courses for high school credit (algebra, foreign language and technology education).
We encourage our students to participate in extracurricular activities. We have a very active Student Council, Charger Honor Society and Campus Life meetings are held weekly. In addition, student athletes can participate in football, volleyball, cheerleading, boys’ and girls’ tennis, cross country, boys’ and girls’ basketball, seventh- and eighth-grade boys’ and girls’ track.

Principal’s Message
Dr. Nikki Bullington
Welcome to Clarksville Middle School! I am excited to begin my ninth year as the Principal at CMS and 19th year in the district. I’m very thankful for the opportunity to work at CMS with an amazing group of students, staff, and community members.
In an effort to continue to strive to create a disciplined yet engaging learning environment for all students at Clarksville Middle School, we will begin to implement our revamped school-wide behavior management plan where students at CMS will learn to strive daily to be “RESPECTFUL, RESPONSIBLE & READY to LEARN” in all areas of the building
Assistant Principal’s Message
Troy Mitchell
I would like to welcome you to Clarksville Middle School. This is my 9th year as the Assistant Principal at Clarksville Middle School, my 22nd year in the CCSC district, and my 29th year as an educator.
Clarksville Middle School’s motto is “where success happens one student at a time.” Each student is a unique individual and my goal to help CMS achieve our motto is to be an influence on students in such a way as to help them make responsible choices that affect the rest of their lives.
