Clarksville Community Schools and the Clarksville Police Department have been made aware of the social media threats made toward southern Indiana schools early this morning (Wednesday, Sept. 28) and have taken precaution with extra security at all public and private school districts within the Clarksville Town boundaries. Please know, that no specific threat was made to any school within the Clarksville Community School District.
The safety of our students and staff is our top priority in CCSC. We are very grateful for the help and partnership with Clarksville Police. Because of the cooperative relationships between the local police and the school corporation, our students and staff have had a productive school day.
Again, please be assured that the school district and local police will continue to monitor this matter and that school safety will continue to be our top priority.
