2018-2019 School Start and End Times
Beginning with the 2018-2019 school year, we are happy to announce that we are able to extend our elementary instructional day by 40 minutes. This adjustment will ensure that our students have the same instructional minutes/educational opportunities as other elementary students across the state. Our teachers will be able to utilize the additional time for classroom instruction, enrichment activities, group learning and more. We believe this change will help our students learn and achieve more, which in turn will better prepare them for the next phase of their educational journey.
Making this change will alter the start and end times for all four of our school buildings. We are happy to make these adjustments because this is what is best for our students and our students deserve nothing less than the best!
The 2018-2019 start/dismissal and bus route times for all CCSC Schools are as follows:
2018-2019 School Calendar
As a reminder, the 2018-2019 school calendar will be changed from a balanced calendar to a hybrid traditional calendar, which means that our 2018-2019 school start date will be August 8th. This will allow a 2-week longer summer break and increase instructional time prior to state-wide testing. This calendar also aligns with the other schooldistricts in our county (West Clark and Greater Clark). I have attached a copy for your review.
Lastly, for your convenience, we have opened registration earlier this year. This means that you can register your student(s) NOW by logging in to your Campus Portal account and clicking on the “Online Registration” link or by going to our website at: www.clarksvilleschools.org, clicking on the “RESOURCES” tab and then on the “To Register your student” link. Instructions for registering your student, setting up a Campus Portal account and recovering your Campus Portal credentials can also be found on that page. Our goal is to have all returning students registered by May 24th.

2018-2019 Inicio Escolar y horas de Salida
Comenzando con el año escolar 2018-2019, nos complace anunciar que podemos extender nuestro dia de instrucción básica en 40 minutos. Este ajuste garantizara que nuestros estudiantes tengan los mismos minuto de instrucción/ oportunidades educativas que otros estudiantes de primaria en todo el estado. Nuestros maestros podrán utilizar el tiempo adicional para la instrucción en el aula, actividades de enriquecimiento, aprendizaje grupal y mas. Creemos que este cambio ayudará a nuestros estudiantes aprender y lograr más, lo que a su vez los prepara mejor para la próxima etapa de su viaje educativo.
Hacer este cambio altera el horario de inicio y fin de los cuatro edificios de nuestra escuela. Estamos felices de hacer estos ajustes porque esto es lo mejor para nuestros estudiantes merecen nada menos que lo mejor.

luego en el enlace “Para registrar a su estudiante” (To register your student). Las instrucciones para registrar a tu estudiante, configurar una cuenta de campus portal y recuperar sus credenciales de campus portal. Algunos padres ya están registrados y tienen su cuenta para entrar com su nombre de usuario que ellos crearon y su contraseña personal. Nuestro objetivo es que todos los estudiantes que regresan se registren antes del 24 de Mayo.
