Four Key Club Members representing Renaissance Academy and Clarksville High School attended a Key Leader Training at Camp Tecumseh near Brooksville, IN from Nov. 4-6.  There were around 95 teen leaders from all over the state of Indiana in attendance.

“Key Leader is a weekend experiential leadership program for today’s young leaders. This life-changing event focuses on service leadership as the first, most meaningful leadership-development experience. A Key Leader will learn the most important lesson of leadership—it comes from helping others succeed.”

Sponsored by Kiwanis International, the students participated in activities focusing on the leadership traits of integrity, growth, respect, community, and excellence. They each became members of a “neighborhood” sharing in a variety of activities, including an afternoon of team building challenges.

Keegan Allred,  Analise DeKorte, Tabatha Schwartz and Hannah Smith greatly enjoyed and benefited from this memorable event and return to CCSC with new ideas to make our community a better place and teach others to serve through volunteerism.
