Clarksville Middle School rocked the house this morning at their first “Community House Party on Friday, August 25.

The House Party’s purpose is for all four houses at CMS to come together and build unity as one with friendly competitions, house calls, shout-outs (recognizing students going above and beyond during weekly house time) and to review the character skills learned for the month.

The students were engaged, excited and pumped up for their first ever house party!

This is Clarksville Middle School’s first year implementing the housing system; the purpose of the new system is to promote and enhance the school community atmosphere.

Each team’s name is based on four character traits: Kindness, Unity, Civility and Tolerance all translated in Swahili.

The houses compete for points, and each week the houses host house meetings to build on character growth, participation and much more!
