Matt Pait | Assistant Principal
Welcome to Clarksville High School! I am excited to begin my second year as Clarksville High School Assitant Principal.
Last school year did not end in a normal way, but I am extremely proud of Clarksville Schools, our students, and our families, for the way we came together and made the best out of the situation. Because of our small school family, we were able to support our students and help them continue to learn throughout the pandemic.
This year we are looking forward to getting our students back in class, whatever that looks like, and making sure we keep our students and staff safe while providing the best education we can. We continue to have high expectations for this school year and hope that it will be a successful year for everyone. As assistant principal, I want to support the students in making successful choices that will benefit them throughout life. I believe that it is our job to help our students learn how to make good decisions to be successful so that they can achieve their dreams when they graduate.
This will be my 12th year working in Education. Before coming to Clarksville I spent the ten years as a business teacher, basketball coach, Freshman Academy Team Leader, and Business Academy Leader at Jeffersonville High School. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Bellarmine University and a Master’s Degree in Education from Lincoln Memorial University. I am married to my wife, Shallon, and have two children, Liza (4 years old), and Rozy (1 year old).
I look forward to working with everyone this year!
