Adrienne Goldman | Principal
Welcome to Clarksville High School, Home of the Generals!
I am honored to be entering my 10th year as principal of Clarksville High School and my 26th year in education. Without a doubt, my favorite thing about CHS is our small community environment. This allows us to truly know our students and support them as they work toward their goals. While we are a small school community, we take pride in offering big opportunities—from academics to extracurriculars—so that our Generals experience the best of both worlds: the resources of a larger school and the personal connection of a close-knit community.
Our team is committed to providing every student with a safe, caring, and positive environment that inspires them to reach their full potential—academically and as members of our community. We believe this focus is essential to helping students graduate on time and move forward as confident, prepared individuals.
As we enter the 2025–2026 school year, we are challenging both staff and students to consider how they will “Unleash Their Potential.” This may mean embracing a new challenge, stepping outside of comfort zones, or exploring new activities. Teachers are preparing engaging learning opportunities that foster critical thinking, problem solving, collaboration, and community awareness. At the same time, we continue to grow socially, emotionally, and behaviorally through our commitment to G.R.I.T.—Growth Mindset, Readiness, Integrity, and Trust. These values help us create an environment where every student can thrive.
I encourage you to talk with your child about their school experience and reach out with any questions. Your feedback helps us better understand and meet the needs of our CCSC families. We value this partnership between home and school because we know it plays a vital role in helping every child achieve their goals.
Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s high school journey. We are grateful to walk alongside each General on their path to success. Please do not hesitate to contact me or your child’s teachers if you need support at any point during the year.
Let’s make the 2025–2026 school year our best one yet!
Sincerely,
Dr. Adrienne Goldman
