Hello CES Families! I’m so excited to be returning for my 8th year as Assistant Principal at CES! 2021-2022 is going to be a year to “Go for the Gold” at CES!

Clarksville Elementary is truly a special school! I received my Master Degree in Elementary Education and Mental Health from the University of Colorado, while teaching in Denver Public Schools. I then relocated to Tennessee, where I worked as the Education and Nutrition Specialist for a Head Start/Early Head Start Program, prior to to retuning to the classroom as a Title I teacher and a first grade teacher. While in Tennessee, I earned my EdS and Administrators Licensee.

Upon moving to southern Indiana, I was fortunate enough to take some time to be home with my children, Cooper and Charleigh. I then took a position in West Clark Schools, ultimately leading to my position here at CES. After my variety of experiences in education in different states and districts, I can honestly say that CES and CCSC has the highest level of instruction and talented teachers that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. 

As part of the CES Administrative team, I handle various things on a daily basis, much of which revolves around attendance and discipline. I challenge our students to be at school every day, unless they are sick. I also encourage our students to follow our PBIS acronym in all areas of their lives-REACH (respect, empathy, attitude, cooperation and honesty).

My main goal as Assistant Principal is to make sure your child has a safe, positive and challenging place to learn. If I can be of assistance to help your child in reaching these goals, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
