Should I still enroll for the 2020/21 school year?

YES! We are currently scheduled to reopen our campus May 1st and the 2020/21 school year is so far unaffected. To enroll, please visit this page.

Will the district provide meals for my children on eLearning/alternate education days?

Yes! We are providing meals to all of our families during this time. Please click here to learn more.

What if the student device I’ve borrowed from the school district needs to be repaired?

  If your device needs repair, email our technology department at help@clarksvilleschools.org with as much information as possible. A member from the department will return your message either with instructions on how to repair the device or to schedule a time to drop it off for repair or to swap it out for a different machine.

What if my student cannot remember his/her username or password?

Your student’s teacher is able to provide their username and password should they need it.

What if I don’t have internet access at home?

    Charter Communications will provide 60 days of Spectrum broadband and Wi-Fi access to homes with K-12 and/or college students who do not already have a subscription at no charge. Installation fees will also be waived for these households. To participate in this program, call 1-844-488-8395.

 Spectrum has also established free hotspots through the town of Clarksville and beyond. These are listed on this website. 

 

 

What if I missed the window to request a student device?

We have been working to provide student devices to our families. With a high demand, we are trying our best to accommodate these requests. While families who requested a device within the window will be given preference, we will try our best to help anyone who requests. Please email help@clarksvilleschools.org to make your request.

What should I do if I still need to pay my child’s book rental fees?

    Parents can still log in to their Infinite Campus account and use their credit card to pay the fees.

Have Prom and Graduation been rescheduled?

   Graduation is scheduled for Friday, May 29th at 7 p.m. This year, it will take place virtually. Students will be able to walk the stage and receive their diploma with their family. Please click here for more details.

   Prom has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. Ticket refunds are being issued.

A celebration for the Class of 2020 will be held – tentatively – July 16 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. We will monitor federal, state and local guidelines for gatherings and adjust this plan if needed. 

Will my child have to take the state assessment when they return to school?

The Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) has announced the cancellation of the upcoming Spring 2020 assessment windows.  This includes IREAD-3, ILEARN, ISTEP+ and I AM. You can read the full letter from the IDOE here.
